More arrests expected in Lord case after Republic investigation connects cases to Goon attacks
A series of brutal attacks by teens in the Southeast Valley known as the Gilbert Goons that were filmed and distributed on social media went unchecked for months, raising serious questions about policing and accountability.
One of these attacks led to the death of 16-year-old Preston Lord last year. Seven adults and teenagers now face murder charges. Arizona Republic reporters Robert Anglen and Elena Santa Cruz break down the latest developments since they published an investigation that connected Lord's murder to the Goon attacks.
The show, hosted by Arizona Republic reporter Rafael Carranza, explores news and issues through interviews with other reporters and newsmakers in a fast-paced, easy-to-digest format.
