Motorcyclist dead after crash on Olean Road
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County’s Crash Investigation Unit is investigating a motorcycle and car collision that occurred on July 4 in the Town of Sardinia that left a motorcyclist dead, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Officials said that at approximately 10:20 a.m., dispatch received a report of a car and motorcycle crash on Olean Road near Schutt Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as 57-year-old Daniel Roth of Arcade, had severe injuries when patrol arrived at the scene.
He was transported to ECMC and was later pronounced dead on the night of July 6.
The crash remains under investigation. Authorities said no additional information is available at this time.
