Motorcyclist dead after crashing into light pole in Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a light pole Thursday evening in Buffalo, police officials said.
The crash happened just before 7:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Ohio Street, where police said the motorcycle was traveling northbound when the operator seemingly lost control and struck the pole, causing him to be ejected.
The operator, a 40-year-old Buffalo man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
