Mt. Tabor Brewing shutters Portland brewery, Vancouver pub after 8 years

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Another Portland pub is permanently shutting its doors.

Mt. Tabor Brewing, with locations in Southeast Portland and Vancouver, announced it would be closing after 8 years of business in a notice which replaced their website on Wednesday.

The notice also extended gratitude to patrons, staff and neighbors for their support.

What went into Portland’s rejected bid to host the iconic Sundance Film Festival?

“Your enthusiasm, feedback, and companionship have been the heart of our success, and we’re profoundly grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the years,” the notice stated. “As we close this chapter, we’re reflecting on the countless good times we’ve had. Thank you once again for being a part of our story.”

This comes after another Portland staple, Von Ebert Brewing, permanently shut down their flagship location in the Pearl District back in April.

The pub did not list a reason for the closure.
