Isolated drips late Friday, more rain Sunday
Saturday will be outstanding. Dry and mainly sunny. It will be a bit cooler with temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 60s.
Sunday will start dry but showers will arrive during the afternoon. A cold front will bring scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms to WNY.
A more significant cool shot arrives next week. The cool air will interact with the warmer waters of the lakes, resulting in isolated lake-effect rain showers, mainly during the afternoons for the first few days of the new week. There may be a bit more of those showers across the higher terrain south of the metro.
