Nashville weather forecast for each day of CMA Fest: Spectacular start and chance to storms on Sunday

CMA Fest kicks off Thursday in Nashville and the first two days of "country music's biggest party" are slated to be very warm and humid, according to the National Weather Service. Sunday, however, could experience some rain and possibly a thunderstorm.

Thursday temperatures will reach a high of 90 before cooling down in the evening. Friday is expected to be warm as well, with a high of 83 and a low of 59 at night.

"Friday looks spectacular for early June with highs only in the mid 70s to low 80s, comfortable humidity ... and no rain in sight," said the weather service. "Friday night looks equally nice."

However, the comfortable weather is expected to move out beginning on Saturday. Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high near 84, however clouds will begin to roll in at night, bringing along a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday, while expected to be sunny, could experience rain throughout the day. Sunday night will be cloudy, but the chance for rain and thunderstorms is expected to decrease. According to the weather service, the threat for strong to severe storms on Sunday is currently very low.
