These nearby buildings will be closed for Morgan Wallen's concert at Neyland Stadium
Around 80,000 fans are expected each night Morgan Wallen plays Neyland Stadium this weekend, but the Sept. 20 show has additional challenges as the University of Tennessee at Knoxville remains in session that day with restrictions in place for music fans arriving on campus.
Three buildings near the stadium will close at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20 for security reasons:
Zeanah Engineering Complex at 863 Neyland Drive (south of the stadium)
Alumni Memorial Building at 1408 Middle Drive (north of the stadium)
Silverstein-Luper Building at 1600 Peyton Manning Pass (west of the stadium)
A VolCard will be required to access campus buildings beginning at 1 p.m. The Student Union will close at 6 p.m., just 30 minutes before the concert starts.
University officials sent an email to professors affected by the closures, but canceling classes will be up to individual instructors ? no campus-wide mandate. The email did not specify whether buildings would be closed Sunday in preparation for the Sept. 22 show.
Tennessee football plays away this week at Oklahoma.
Library hours shifting for Morgan Wallen concert in Neyland Stadium
Libraries across campus will shift hours to accommodate the concerts.

The George F. DeVine Music Library and Webster C. Pendergrass Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine Library will close at 1 p.m. Sept. 20. Both libraries will be closed Sept. 22.
All three libraries will resume regular fall semester hours starting Sept. 23.
