Newfane man arrested for beating puppies
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man is facing charges after he allegedly beat two puppies to death in the town of Newfane last week, according to New York State police.
Troopers were dispatched to Main Street in Newfane for a report of animal cruelty on Thursday. An investigation determined that 23-year-old Christian Radetich-Hallman of Newfane had allegedly beaten two puppies to death, leaving one of them in a trash can, police said.
A deceased 3-month-old female Australian shepard and a deceased 4-month-old male king charles cavalier spaniel were found in a residence.
Radetich-Hallman was arrested Tuesday for two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and two counts of criminal tampering with physical evidence.
