Next step for Donald Trump's son Barron: Where to attend college
Now that Barron Trump has graduated from Oxbridge Academy near West Palm Beach, where will the son of Donald and Melania Trump attend college?
One speculated possibility is New York University. The NYU campus in Manhattan is not far from Barron Trump's childhood home at Trump Tower.
Barron wouldn't be the only "famous" person who went to NYU; some include Rudy Giuliani, Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga, Chris Evans, Alec Baldwin, Anne Hathaway, Timothée Chalamet, Adam Sandler, Elizabeth Olsen and James Franco.
Donald Trump in the past has also said he believed Barron might follow in his footsteps by attending the University of Pennsylvania.
But according to what the former president has told Newsweek, it looks like Barron is mulling other options now.
Donald Trump on Barron's college choices
“Right now, he’s doing a great job,” Trump told the weekly news magazine. “He has great marks. He’s going to be going to college soon. And we’re looking at some colleges that are different than they were two months ago.”
The former first family has not commented beyond that.
But we know Barron, who turned 18 in March, has plans this summer.
Last week, Melania Trump stated that the youth would not be able to serve as a Florida delegate at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee this July due to his "prior commitments."
