BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An alleged Niagara Falls Crips Gang member was sentenced to serve three years in prison after being convicted of multiple drug charges, the United States Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Michael Pryor, 27, was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, cocaine, and distribution of fentanyl within 1,000 feet of public housing property.

Officials said Michael conspired with co-defendants Shawn Pryor, Cameron Lee and others to sell cocaine. Michael, Shawn and Lee identified as members and associates of the Crips Gang and helped each other sell drugs to one another when they needed drugs to sell to a customer, the U.S. attorney’s office said.

On Oct. 7, 2022, Michael allegedly sold fentanyl to an undercover law enforcement officer within 1,000 feet of the Anthony Spallina Towers, which is owned by the Niagara Falls Municipal Housing Authority. Officials said he also sold cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl to the officer and an individual who was working with law enforcement.

According to the U.S. attorney’s office, on Oct. 16, 2022, Michael, Shawn and another person drove to a convenience store on Ashland Avenue in Niagara Falls and beat up a rival drug dealer who was selling drugs in their area. They then allegedly chased the victim, who was later treated for injuries, into the convenience store and left the area.

Both Shawn and Lee were previously convicted.
