Niagara Falls man admits to 2 separate stabbings, 1 fatal

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man pleaded guilty Monday afternoon to manslaughter and other charges in connection with two separate stabbings, the Niagara County District Attorney’s office announced.

Officials said Dominique Castile, 36, admitted to stabbing 33-year-old Stefhon Hilson to death on Jan. 1, 2023, and to stabbing another person five days earlier on Dec. 27, 2022.

Castile pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault.

He faces up to 25 years in prison when he returns for sentencing on Oct. 18.
