Niagara Falls man sentenced for fatal 2023 stabbing
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man was sentenced for fatally stabbing a man in 2023 after stabbing another individual five days prior, the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Dominique Castile, 36, pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter after fatally stabbing 33-year-old Stefhon Hilson on New Year’s Day 2023. He also pleaded guilty to second-degree assault for stabbing a different individual on Dec. 27, 2022.
Castile was sentenced to 22 years in prison. He originally faced up to 25 years.
