Niagara Street back open following shots fired call
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The 400 block of Niagara Street is reopened Friday afternoon after being closed for a few hours due to a shots fired call, according to Buffalo police.
Police said they responded to the call around 2:30 p.m. and that no injuries were reported. The incident appeared domestic in nature and may have occurred inside of a residence, according to police.
A male suspect was tased and taken into custody before being transported to ECMC by ambulance, police said.
While police responded to the call, motorists were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
The investigation is ongoing.
