Nightly road closures on I-86 in Chautauqua County begin Monday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The New York State Department of Transportation announced nightly road closures along Interstate 86 near Bemus Point beginning Monday.

The closures will be in effect from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily from Monday, Sept. 9 until Saturday, Sept. 14.

Exit 10, also known as the Long Point State Park ramp, will be closed from eastbound I-86 to westbound State Route 430. I-86 traffic will be closed both eastbound and westbound between Exit 9 and Exit 11.

Motorists should follow posted detours.
