Oceans Calling to return after initial success
Oceans Calling Festival — in partnership with musicians O.A.R. and featuring over 30 performances on three stages — will be open to festivalgoers from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Festival grounds are to be located at the Ocean City Inlet, with the Atlantic Ocean just a short walk away.
The announcement of the music festival's grand return comes after the successful inaugural event, which took place Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, 2023. The event took the town of Ocean City by storm.

A reported total of 50,000 people were in town each day for the inaugural festival. Throngs of delighted festivalgoers packed the historic Boardwalk, inlet and surrounding beach.
Together, families and friends sampled delicious bites from local food vendors and had an all-around jolly good time at Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, all the while music filled the air.
The resort town was teeming with life, and local mom-and-pop-shops such as King's Cotton Candy, Bull on the Beach and Cork Bar flourished. Each deemed the festival a massive success.
"Thank you to everyone who made the first #OceansCalling so unforgettable – the incredible acts, our hardworking staff, and most importantly, YOU, the amazing fans! We're filled with gratitude for Ocean City, and we can't wait to return," said the C3-produced festival in October, thanking festivalgoers and teasing its imminent return.

Oceans Calling Festival's comeback, and future
The music festival made a comeback in 2023 after being forced to cancel in 2022 due to Hurricane Ian's impending bad weather, much to the dismay of excited festivalgoers.
Since it's success in 2023, a three-year contract has been signed by the town and C3, the promoters for the event. The contract includes tentative date holds for a multi-stage music festival in 2025 and 2026, Delmarva Now previously reported.
