The rollout of recreational marijuana has taken months for regulators to sort out, and it comes with a series of rules and regulations to keep in mind.
Where can you purchase it?
The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Cannabis Control has issued the first round of dual-use marijuana licenses to 98 eligible dispensaries around the Buckeye State.

How old do you have to be? What should you bring?
Just like with alcohol sales, you must be 21 years of age or older with a valid state driver’s license or ID to purchase cannabis.
How much can you purchase?
Additionally, as FOX 8 previously reported, there’s a limit on how much you can buy at once.
“For non-medical patients, they can only buy a 10 day supply at a time,” said Jimmie Dawson, owner of the Euclid shop Nectar. “So, depending on how much THC is in the product, that determines the day of supply it is. So, if it’s 100 milligrams, that’s 1 day. If it’s 200 milligrams, that’s 2 days.”
Many dispensaries are cash-only and those with medical marijuana cards will typically get first priority.
