The claim: Video shows 2024 footage of Dallas tornado
A July 12 Facebook video (direct link, archive link) shows a montage of tornadoes and high winds damaging houses and other infrastructure.
"Huge tornado in Dallas USA 2024," the video is captioned.
It was shared more than 900 times in two weeks.

There haven't been any tornadoes in Dallas this year, according to an area meteorologist. The footage in the video circulated online prior to 2024.
Video shows old tornado footage
Although there have been tornadoes in other parts of north Texas, there have been no tornadoes in Dallas County so far this year, Patricia Sanchez, a meteorologist at the Fort Worth/Dallas National Weather Service office, told USA TODAY.
The montage in the video includes footage uploaded to YouTube in 2014, 2020, 2022 and 2023, and one clip that was posted on X, formerly Twitter, in 2022.

AFP also debunked the video.
USA TODAY reached out to the Facebook user who shared the post for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
