Olean man arrested for alleged burglary with firearm
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Olean man was taken into custody Thursday night in connection with an alleged armed robbery, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office said.
It has been alleged that just after 9:20 p.m. Thursday night, 32-year-old Stephen Frank IV forcibly entered an Ischua residence with a shotgun. He then allegedly used the firearm to rob the homeowner and a family member, according to officials.
The Sheriff’s Office said he used the victim’s vehicle to flee the area.
Frank was taken into custody and processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court July 2.
