One dead, two hospitalized after two-vehicle Brown County crash on STH 57
SCOTT, Wis. (WFRV) – A 49-year-old Brown County man was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on STH 57 in Brown County on Thursday afternoon, and two others, including a man from Arizona, were hospitalized.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called to a two-vehicle crash on northbound STH 57 at Gerzek Road in the Town of Scott just before 12:20 p.m. on June 27.

A preliminary investigation showed that a car, driven by a 49-year-old man from Scott, was going south on STH 57 when he reportedly was hit by a northbound vehicle while trying to turn left onto Gersek Road.
The 49-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the northbound vehicle, a 65-year-old man from Arizona, and his 60-year-old female passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit assisted at the scene and both northbound and southbound lanes were closed and have since reopened.
