One injured during crash along Memorial Parkway

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — One person was injured during a car crash in Huntsville on Wednesday morning.

The crash happened along Northbound Memorial Parkway and I-565 around 7:06 a.m. according to HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster.

Huntsville Police say that the crash involved two vehicles and that one person was taken to Huntsville Hospital with minor injuries.

Crews are working to clear debris out of the roadway. All roads are expected to be open within an hour. According to Huntsville Police, one of the vehicles involved in the crash was pulling a trailer hauling sheetrock which is taking more time to clean.
