One person taken to hospital after shooting in Baton Rouge, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting in the 2100 block of Lobdell Boulevard, according to emergency medical officials.

EMS said the person was transported at 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. They do not have any information about the condition of the person who was taken to the hospital.

An EMS vehicle was observed leaving the location. Police, multiple BRPD units, and crime scene tape were also spotted at the scene.
