One wounded, another arrested in Treme area shooting

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department made an arrest in connection with a shooting that left a man wounded on Thursday, Aug. 22.
Around 5:40 a.m., NOPD officers responded to the 2600 block of Ursulines Avenue on a report of a man shot in the area.
Bywater homicide suspect to be extradited from Texas
Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to a hospital by EMS but an update on his condition was not released.
Through an investigation, detectives identified 30-year-old Terrence Lee as the suspect after reportedly turning himself in.

He was arrested on a charge of second-degree battery.
