New Orleans police investigate after body found in lagoon at Audubon Park
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating after a body was found in a lagoon at Audubon Park on Sunday, Aug. 11.
NOPD officials told WGNO that the incident is being investigated as an unclassified death.

On Monday, Aug. 12, the New Orleans coroner identified the body as 25-year-old Michael Nwokorie.
The cause and manner of his death are being investigated.
