New Orleans Uber driver robbed at gunpoint
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — An Uber driver was robbed at gunpoint on Friday morning after picking up two women near the intersection of Toulouse and Bourbon streets.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the victim, a 38-year-old man, took the two women to the 1900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue after picking them up. Once there, an argument broke out between the man and the two suspects.

During the argument, one of the women reportedly threw the victim’s phone out of the car window. A male suspect then arrived in a vehicle with tinted windows and pulled a gun on the victim while the two women stole his belongings.
The two women then got into the male suspect’s vehicle and fled the scene.
