Oshkosh Police Department searching for two suspects in reported late-night robbery

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Oshkosh are seeking assistance from the community in a robbery investigation that stems from a reported incident on Wednesday night.

Around 10:15 p.m., a woman was robbed in the area of Otter Ave. and Broad St. on the east side, according to the release. The woman was walking through the area when two people reportedly went up to her and stole her backpack.

According to the release, the suspects were described as two black men wearing dark tops. One of them was reportedly wearing dark Nike sweatpants and Jordan shoes. The backpack that was stolen was a black Nike bag, which reportedly contained a Wendy’s uniform.

Oshkosh officers are asking that anybody in the community nearby look at any video devices with possible footage. In addition, the department asks for residents to be on the lookout for the stolen items. Any information should be reported at (920) 236-5267 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (920) 231-8477.
