Panera Bread is a national restaurant chain that started in 1987 and has expanded its footprint to 48 different states within the U.S., including 188 locations across Florida. The chain is known for its sandwiches, soups and variety of baked goods.
This new location will be Panera’s third restaurant in Santa Rosa County. Their other locations within the county can be found in Gulf Breeze and Pace. They also have a new location under construction in northwest Pensacola, which will be their first restaurant in that area as well.
The plans for this project were filed with Santa Rosa County in late May and were approved on Aug. 19.
Navarre ATZ Development, LLC is the listed owner of the project.
