Part of 190 reopened to all traffic
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The I-190 northbound and southbound lanes between exit 8 (Niagara Street) and exit 9 (Porter Avenue) have reopened, New York State Thruway Authority announced Sunday.
The lanes were closed from 9 p.m. Saturday until just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday to allow for a new bridge on Niagara Street to be installed.
The demolition of the old bridge took longer than expected, which is caused a one and a half hour delay in reopening.
