(WFRV) – Amidst Farm Safety and Health Week, the Wisconsin State Patrol is reminding drivers that they cannot pass farm vehicles in a no-passing zone.
The Wisconsin State Patrol posted on its Facebook page reminding motorists that they cannot pass farm vehicles in a no-passing zone. The post was during Farm Safety and Health Week.
The post also mentioned that fall harvest time can be one of the agriculture industry’s busiest and most dangerous seasons.
Additionally, authorities linked to the Wisconsin State Legislature that says drivers cannot pass farm vehicles in a no-passing zone.

The operator of a vehicle may drive on the left side of the center of a roadway on any portion thereof which has been designated a no-passing zone, as described in par. (a), to overtake and pass, with care, any vehicle, except an implement of husbandry or agricultural commercial motor vehicle, traveling at a speed less than half of the applicable speed limit at the place of passing.
