Peaky Blinders star Sam Neill shares cancer update
Peaky Blinders star Sam Neill has shared an update on his cancer, saying it is "great to be alive".
Last year, the actor revealed that he had been in treatment for stage three blood cancer, though confirmed at the time he was cancer-free after being diagnosed the year before.
In a new interview, the Jurassic Park actor reflected on the tough period of treatment, saying that it was a "grim" experience.

"It just meant that every second week it was a case of forget about the weekend because that would be a bit grim," he told the Herald Sun (via MailOnline).
"But other than that, it's great to be alive and working and in beautiful places, like York."
Last year, Neill revealed that he will need to take infusions every two weeks for the rest of his life after undergoing treatment with a rare anti-cancer drug, and that doctors had told him that it will stop working one day.
"I'm not in any way frightened of dying, that's never worried me from the beginning," he told Australian Story.

"But I would be annoyed. I'd be annoyed because there are things I still want to do. Very irritating, dying. But I'm not afraid of it."
Earlier last year upon revealing his diagnosis publicly for the first time, Neill admitted the previous year "had its dark moments".
“But those dark moments throw the light into sharp relief, you know, and have made me grateful for every day and immensely grateful for all my friends. Just pleased to be alive."
He also said that writing a memoir amid his treatment was a "lifesaver" for him, explaining: "I couldn’t have gone through that with nothing to do."
