Pedestrian bridge in Santa Fe closed after partial collapse

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – A pedestrian bridge in Santa Fe is shut down after it partially collapsed. It is not clear what caused the problem at the bridge on Closson St. but inspectors deemed it unsafe for use on Monday. Cones and caution tape are already set up and more signage will be put up soon.

Pedestrians are being redirected to the next downstream crossing at Louis Monta?o Park. The city did not say when the bridge may reopen.
