Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on Broadway
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday morning on Broadway in Buffalo, police officials announced.
A Jeep SUV was traveling eastbound on Broadway near Hirschbeck Street around 6:30 a.m. when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street, according to police. The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene, and authorities are working to identify them.
Police are questioning an individual in connection with the incident and looking into whether speed was a factor.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
