Pedestrian killed on Deans Bridge Road identified as Augusta man

The Richmond County Coroner's Office has released the identity of a pedestrian killed on Deans Bridge Road Thursday morning.
Tony Maurice Walker, 38, of Augusta, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 12:30 a.m., according to a news release from the coroner's office.
Walker was attempting to cross Deans Bridge Road and Lyman Street when he was hit by a vehicle, according to previous reporting.
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has not announced any arrests, as of Friday morning.
