PHOTOS: Car plows head first into Vancouver pole, driver mostly unscathed

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A distracted driver in Vancouver walked away practically unscathed after a serious crash Tuesday morning, authorities said.

According to Vancouver police, a driver was on Mill Plain Boulevard when they got distracted by traffic cones causing them to crash head first into a pole.

The driver came out with only a minor scratch, authorities said. However, the car got completely lodged against the pole.
