Phyllis Worries About Jack And Victoria On ‘The Young And The Restless’
They are finally out in the open with their rekindled romance, but Phyllis won’t be able to keep herself from wondering if both Jack and Victoria are plotting against her and Billy having a happy ending together on the Thursday, May 11 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
After taking an extensive amount of time apart to try and rekindle things with their scorned exes, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) found their way back to one another on the CBS soap. They tried keeping the romance a secret for a while out of respect, but were eventually exposed when Cane (Daniel Goddard) set them up to be caught making out in the Jabot elevator by Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Though things seemed to be smoothed over afterwards with both her and Jack (Peter Bergmann), new events will start making Phyllis wonder if she has something to worry about when it comes to things both her ex-husband and Billy’s ex-wife start discussing.
Phyllis’ first indication that there may be some plots against them came when Jack suddenly started giving her more work at Jabot, telling her it could mean she has to put in some large amounts of overtime, though he denied it was a ploy. Then, a conversation with Victoria where she snarked that Billy would always be at her house to tuck their children in at night didn’t sit so well with her. Now, when she heads to Brash and Sassy to find Billy and can’t, she will have some of her suspicions seemingly confirmed when Juliet (Laur Allen) smugly informs her that Billy is in fact at Victoria’s house.
“Do you know where he went?” Phyllis asks in a preview clip.
“Victoria’s house,” Juliet replies.

Phyllis will pretend to shake off the unsettled feeling she has by admitting it is important for Billy to spend time with his kids before taking off, but it will still bother her, and she won’t be able to help but feel like Victoria is playing mind games with both her and Billy. When she also learns about the trip to Los Angeles that Victoria is planning for her and Billy, which she claims is related to work, she may also feel that Victoria is trying to use the trip as an excuse to reaffirm her connection to Billy.
Of course, Phyllis isn’t the only one wondering if Victoria is up to something, as Jack will find her and act impressed that she still wants to keep Billy at Brash and Sassy despite his being with Phyllis. She may be forced to finally admit what her reasons for keeping him around really are after Jack questions if she wants him close for other reasons that have nothing to do with business.
“Are you keeping him at Brash and Sassy for business or personal reasons?” He asks.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
