Pirate sword, shotgun found in stolen car, Portland Police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Police Bureau’s Bike Squad recovered a shotgun and a pirate sword from a stolen car found in Portland on Aug. 13, according to the squad’s social media page.

Photos shared to the PPB Bike Squad’s Instagram page show officers processing the weapons as evidence. KOIN 6 News reached out to PPB for more information about any possible arrests related to the weapons. PPB did not immediately provide a response.

“You find the best stuff in stolen cars,” PPB’s social media post reads.

According to information provided in one of PPB’s social media posts, a convicted felon was found in possession of the shotgun. However, no other information is available at this time.
