Police arrest suspect in shooting that killed one person in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A man was arrested in connection with a shooting where one person died on Saturday, July 13.
Christen Baker, 18, was charged with second degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. The shooting happened in the 1700 block of North Harco Drive and took the life of Javezz Dunn, 25, BRPD said.
They said officers found Dunn’s body “behind a building complex.”
According to BRPD, “Baker shot Dunn after having an verbal argument.”
He was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, BRPD said.

BRPD also said they recently made arrests in connection with an investigation into “a large vehicle burglary ring.”
