Police investigating fatal fire in Niagara Falls
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Niagara Falls fire and police detectives are investigating a fatal fire that occurred Tuesday morning on Orleans Avenue, officials announced.
Emergency crews were dispatched to a structure fire just before 9 a.m. at 3054 Orleans Ave. According to officials, smoke was coming from the residence and the fire was contained within ten minutes of arrival.
Officials say a victim, whose identity is being withheld, was found in the back bedroom of the house.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
