Man who set car on fire fatally shot near Elmwood Village
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man who set a car on fire on Elmwood Avenue was the same man who was fatally shot on Potomac Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to officials.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. on the corner of Potomac Avenue just minutes after the fire was lit. The car was parked in front of an apartment building on Elmwood Avenue at the time.
The man who was shot was confirmed deceased, officials said. It appeared to be a targeted incident.
No arrests have been made so far.
