Police: Juvenile arrested after shots fired at Kalamazoo pool

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a juvenile has been arrested after shots were fired Wednesday evening at a Kalamazoo swimming pool.

It happened around 6 p.m. at the Kik Pool, located at 1018 Walter St. near Lake Street, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.

Within minutes, officers were on scene, the release says.

No one was hurt, though an unoccupied vehicle was damaged, according to KDPS.

Police say they recovered two guns. A juvenile was arrested, they say.
