Ponchatoula teen arrested, accused of threatening girls online
PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — The Ponchatoula Police Department announced the arrest of a teenager who has been terrorizing girls via social media.
Chief Bry Layrrison says the 16-year-old boy had reportedly been reaching out to two girls on social media and telephone, threatening them with “harmful violence that would happen at school.”
Jeffery Vappie to appear for arraignment following federal indictment
Ponchatoula detectives said they were able to read the threats and conversation, which led to the teenager’s arrest
He was booked into the Florida Parish Detention Center.
