Portland Fire and Rescue crews respond to Rocky Butte brush fire

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Firefighters are responding to a brush fire on the northeast side of Rocky Butte, officials announced on Wednesday.

Portland Fire & Rescue said the reported fire was mid-slope, making it “difficult to access.”

However, a wild land hose bundle has arrived on the scene and has been successfully stretched to the water access for fire crews, according to PF&R.

No other details were immediately available.
