Power restored to thousands in Evans, Angola
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Thousands of customers in Evans, Angola, and Brant received their power back after being in the dark Thursday night, according to National Grid’s website.
Over five thousand were affected in Evans, over one thousand were affected in Brant and nearly a thousand were affected in Angola during the peak of the outage. About 800 were effected in Eden.
A spokesperson at National Grid said equipment failure at a substation caused the outage.
