Power outage maps: Mass outages remain in Carolinas, Georgia, Florida after Helene

More than a million homes and businesses remain without power across the Southeast as the region reels from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and its remnants.
Hundreds of water rescues have taken place across Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia since Helene's brutal landfall in Florida's Big Bend area late Thursday.
Atlanta totaled more than 11 inches of rain in 48 hours, smashing a record that stood for almost 150 years. Western North Carolina took the brunt of the devastating rains, and more than 30 inches was recorded in some areas. Houses floated away from subdivisions, bridges crumbled, semi-trucks were tossed into mangled piles. Mud, tree branches and food from local grocery stores flowed into the streets.

Florida power outage tracker
According to a USA TODAY power outage tracker, there are over 112,000 outages reported across Florida as of 1:30 p.m. ET Monday.
The northwest part of the state appears to be the area most heavily affected, with Suwannee County reporting over 10,000 outages, Madison County reporting over 8,000 outages, and Taylor County reporting over 6,000 outages. Pinellas County is also reporting over 34,000 outages.
Georgia power outage tracker
There are over 594,000 power outages reported across the state of Georgia as of 1:30 p.m. ET Monday, according to a USA TODAY power outage tracker.
Richmond County is reporting over 83,000 outages, Columbia County is repotting over 67,000 outages, Chatham County is reporting over 58,000 outages and Lowndes County is reporting over 50,000 outages.
South Carolina power outage tracker
As of 1:30 p.m. ET Monday, there were over 666,000 power outages reported across South Carolina, according to a USA TODAY power outage tracker.
The northwestern part of the state was the area most affected by Helene, with Greenville County reporting over 198,000 outages and Spartanburg County reporting over 155,000 outages. Anderson County is also reporting over 68,000 outages.
North Carolina power outage tracker
As of 1:30 p.m. ET Monday, there were over 406,000 power outages reported across North Carolina, according to a USA TODAY power outage tracker.
Buncombe County is reporting over 88,000 outages, Henderson County is reporting over 57,000 outages and Rutherford County is reporting over 31,000 outages.

Virginia power outage tracker
As of 1:30 p.m. ET Monday, there were over 94,000 power outages reported across Virginia, according to a USA TODAY power outage tracker.
The southwest portion of the state was hit hardest by Helene, with Tazewell County, Russell County and Carroll County all reporting over 10,000 power outages.
