The community center will be closed Monday, July 29, through Sunday, Aug. 4. Crews are crews working to connect the pool’s power system. “We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, but we are excited to be delivering on a promise to have this new state-of-the-art aquatic facility available for our young families and seniors,” Deputy Director of Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Andre Dickson said in a news release.

The new aquatics facility will include an outdoor pool, a stand-alone waterslide, and a lobby/check-in area for guests. It will also include an indoor wellness pool. The county plans on completing construction this fall and opening the facility to the community in 2025.
