Repeat offender arrested following threats toward Buffalo, Cheektowaga police

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat for the second time in one month after he allegedly threatened people online, including local police, the Buffalo Police Department announced Wednesday.

On Oct. 2, Mark Ferraro, 57, of Buffalo, was arrested after he allegedly threatened to bomb a Buffalo police building.

It is also alleged that he tagged a private business on Scott Street. He was charged with making a terroristic threat and making a threat of mass harm.

According to police, on Oct. 26, Ferraro named several people as targets, including Buffalo and Cheektowaga police officers, in multiple terroristic threats posted to Facebook. He was identified and apprehended on Best Street.

Ferraro received identical charges to the first incident.
