Some residents jump from home balcony after multiple homes in Destin catch fire: OCSO
DESTIN, Fla. (WKRG) — Residents at a Destin house had to do what they could early Tuesday morning when their home, along with several others, caught fire.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in from a home on Clipper Cove when the residents woke up to find their home on fire.
“Shortly after the 911 call, the house was fully engulfed,” read an OCSO Facebook post.
OCSO officials said multiple neighboring homes caught fire and other homes got heat damage.
All of the residents were able to escape, according to OCSO. Some people did have minor injuries as some people had to jump from the second-story balcony.
Deputies said the home was a complete loss.

The OCSO Facebook post ended by saying, “Deputies worked to clear the surrounding residences due to high winds carrying ash throughout the neighborhood.”
