Roman Kemp left embarrassed by his dad on Saturday Kitchen Live
Nice shirt you've got there lads...
What did you miss?
Father-and-son duo Martin and Roman Kemp stepped into the Saturday Kitchen Live studio this morning (May 4), where their similar wardrobe choice was the immediate talking point.
Having been welcomed by the cookery talkshow's host Matt Tebbutt, former Capital FM presenter Roman took it upon himself to dig out Martin, who'd apparently stolen his look.
What, how and why?
"Nice to see you, how are you?" asked Matt at the start of the programme, with a seemingly bewildered Martin being jumped on by Roman straight away.
"Are you alright?! Nah listen can I... I'm gonna start with the elephant in the room here," he said. "Right, right, I said this morning I was like, 'Dad, I'm going in today, I'm gonna wear a nice dark kind of navy blue shirt, it's gonna have that little texture to it'. He goes, 'Yeah alright cool, see you later'. He turns up in exactly the same.
"It's something that's really done you over so thank you very much for that," the younger Kemp smiled.
Finally answering Matt's question, Martin went on to laugh: "I'm losing it, I forgot Alexa's name the other day, I did! You know you say, 'Alexa, what's the weather like today?' I was going, 'Um... Siri? Siri? No, what's your... Oh, Alexa!'"
What else happened on Saturday Kitchen Live?
Aside from clothing clashes, the pair were on the latest episode of Saturday Kitchen Live to promote their brand-new podcast FFS! My Dad is Martin Kemp, which dropped its first episode a few days ago.
"Join Martin and Roman Kemp every week as Roman sets out on a mission (before Martin's time runs out!) to capture the father-son relationship, deep conversations and the banter they share on a daily basis," teases its official synopsis.
"The questions Roman seeks answers to are: Will Martin's name grace the news headlines when he dies? Will he be featured in a prestigious BAFTA ceremony or immortalised in an NTA montage? And perhaps most crucially, what song does Martin want to go out on at his funeral?"
Saturday Kitchen Live airs on BBC One.
