Roofer dies after falling from ladder in Clinton County

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— One man is dead after falling from a ladder while trying to make roof repairs on Friday morning.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police Release, police were called to the Central Mountain High School for a reported fall victim.

The release states that 27-year-old Kyler Keller of Lewistown was climbing a ladder with a 5-gallon bucket of sealant while his co-worker was holding the bottom of the ladder.

Keller tried to put the bucket on top of the roof, but the top of the ladder shifted causing the ladder to slide across the top of the building.

Officials say Keller then fell 30 feet from the ladder to the concrete below where lifesaving measures were performed.

He was then transported to UPMC Lock Haven where he succumbed to his injuries, stated troopers.

His death has been ruled accidental.
