Roses are red, violets are blue, for presidents and first ladies too
Valentine’s Day: It’s all about flowers, chocolates and declining to comment on the ouster of the national security adviser.
This morning on CNN’s “New Day,” Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., was asked why his party had so far stayed mum in the wake of Gen. Mike Flynn’s resignation as national security adviser, and he readily responded it was for the sake of romance.
“Well, it’s Valentine’s Day and I guess they’re having breakfast with their wives,” he told host Chris Cuomo.
