SUGARCREEK, Ohio (WJW) – A resident or a visitor of Amish Country just won a windfall of cash!

The Ohio Lottery announced a $20 scratch-off ticket sold in Sugarcreek, also known as the ‘gateway to Amish Country,’ won $50,000.

Lottery luck strikes again at local gas station

The ticket was purchased at Riesbeck’s Food Market on Andreas Drive NE, according to a press release.

After taxes, the winner will take home about $36,000.

The winning ticket was a Maximum Millions scratch-off ticket. The game’s top prize is $80,000 for 25 years. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.39, according to the Ohio Lottery website.
